INTRODUCING RAZER KEY SWITCH TECHNOLOGY
Razer Switches stand at the forefront of keyboard technology and innovation. Since creating our own mechanical gaming switches in 2014, we have continued to refine and design a variety of switches to suit every gamer and his needs. Today, we have a versatile line-up that boasts everything from a full-fledged mechanical switch to a mecha-membrane hybrid.
RAZER MECHANICAL SWITCHES
There are plenty of reasons why Razer Mechanical Switches stand in a league of their own. But the most important is how they are specifically crafted to meet the specific needs of gamers. Rigorously tested and validated by esports athletes under the most demanding conditions, all our switches feature optimized actuation points for swift execution and an 80-million keystroke durability. All you need to do is focus on your game.
HOW A MECHANICAL SWITCH WORKS
When you press a key, the stem travels downwards, depressing the spring till the switch is activated and your action is actuated. Unlike run-of-the-mill keyboards, there is no dome to compress—resulting in each keypress being faster and more accurate. Upon release, the spring bounces back to its original position, thus resetting the key.
THE ALL-NEW RAZER™ MECHA-MEMBRANE
If you love the comfort of traditional membrane keyboards but the distinct tactility of mechanical switches, this one’s for you.
Introducing the perfect blend of membrane rubber domes and mechanical switches. The revolutionary patent pending Razer Mecha-Membrane combines the best of
both worlds by providing a soft cushioned touch for gaming comfort, along with a crisp tactile click in mid-height keycap actuation for incredible speed.
